This course is designed to develop and enhance language practices in English in academic and professional contexts. Through a focus on communicating in the disciplines, you will develop the language and strategies needed to engage effectively in your field of study.
Throughout the year, you will:
- strengthen your knowledge of the English language;
- improve academic reading skills, analyzing and interpreting texts relevant to your discipline;
- build foundational writing skills by producing well-structured reports, essays, and research-based documents, and
- develop oral communication skills for presentations, discussions, and professional interactions.
